All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The following incident occurred on Monday, February 17, 2020:
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 10:34 a.m., Deputies, Argyle EMS, and the Argyle Fire Department, responded to the W9300 block of CTH C in the Town of Adams for a report of a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that Kristine M Germann, 53, Monona, WI, was traveling westbound when she lost control of her vehicle due to the snow covered road surface. The vehicle exited the roadway and entered the ditch. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Germann and her passenger both reported that they were not injured. Germann and her passenger both reported that they were wearing their seatbelts.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 11:02 a.m., Deputies responded to the intersection of STH 59 and Suburban Dr in the Town of Albany for a report of a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that Anthony M. Gutierrez, 27, Madison, WI, was traveling westbound on STH 59 when he lost control of his vehicle due to the snow covered road surface. The vehicle then exited the roadway and collided with a snow embankment. Gutierrez reported that he was not injured and that he was wearing his seatbelt. The vehicle sustained disabling damage. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
The Albany Police Department assisted Deputies at the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 1:46 p.m., Deputies and the Browntown Fire Department responded to the N2900 block of CTH M in the Town of Jordan for a report of a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that Nathaniel J. Arneson, 51, Monroe, WI, was traveling northbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to the snow covered road surface. The vehicle then entered the ditch and struck a culvert. The vehicle then came to a rest in a creek. Arneson and his passenger both reported that they were wearing their seatbelts. Arneson and his passenger both reported that they were not injured. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and the airbags deployed. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 2:04 p.m., Deputies responded to the W6600 block of Lightening Ridge Rd in the Town of Monroe for a report of a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that William E. Holcomb, 41, Monroe, WI, was traveling westbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to the snow covered road surface. The vehicle exited the roadway and collided with a fence. Holcomb reported that he was not injured and that he was not wearing his seatbelt. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 3:23 p.m., Deputies, Argyle EMS, and the Argyle Fire Department, responded to the W9500 block of STH 81 in the Town of Adams for a report of a two vehicle crash with injuries. Investigation revealed that Sarah R. Flannery, 22, Argyle, WI, was traveling westbound when she lost control of her vehicle. A vehicle driven by Kathi J. Meier, 40, Monroe, WI, then collided with Flannery’s vehicle. Both vehicles then came to a rest.
Flannery reported that she was wearing her seatbelt and that she sustained non-life threatening injuries. Flannery’s vehicle sustained minor damage and the airbags did not deploy. Flannery’s vehicle was driven from the scene.
Meier reported that she was wearing her seatbelt and that she sustained non-life threatening injuries. Meier’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and the airbags deployed. Meier’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
Both Flannery and Meier were transported by EMS to the Monroe Clinic Emergency Room.
Deputies from the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office assisted Deputies at the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 6:00 p.m., Deputies responded to the W3700 block of CTH W in the Town of Exeter for a report of a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that Jacob S. Powell, 29, Janesville, WI, was traveling westbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to the snow covered road surface. The vehicle entered the ditch where it struck a fence. Powell reported that he was not injured and that he was wearing his seatbelt. The vehicle sustained minor damage and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle was removed from the ditch by a tow company. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 6:19 p.m., Deputies responded to the W7000 block of Franklin Rd in the Town of Clarno for a report of a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that Cory T. Bidlingmaier, 44, Monroe, WI, was traveling westbound when he lost control of the vehicle due to the snow covered road surface. The vehicle then entered the ditch where it struck a power pole. Bidlingmaier reported that he was not injured and that he was wearing his seatbelt. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
