All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The following incidents occurred on Friday, January 31, 2020:
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 4:26 a.m., Deputies responded to the N7500 block of CTH X in the Town of Exeter for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Upon Deputies arrival, it was discovered that the driver had fled the scene. An investigation into the crash revealed that the driver was Brandon J. Fahey, 39, Belleville, WI. It was discovered that Fahey was traveling on CTH X when Fahey reported that a dog entered the roadway, which caused him to lose control of his vehicle. The vehicle then exited the roadway and struck a fence. The vehicle then overturned and came to a rest. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and the airbags deployed. Fahey reported that he was not injured and that he was wearing his seatbelt. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Citations are pending for Fahey.
The Belleville Police Department assisted with the investigation.
Probation and Parole Arrest:
At approximately 10:09 a.m., Deputies responded to the Green County Probation and Parole Office in the City of Monroe and arrested Matthew G. Tweed, 40, Belleville, WI, who had a Probation Hold placed on him by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Tweed was incarcerated in the Green County Jail.
Bail Jumping:
At approximately 10:15 a.m., Deputies arrested Donald T. D. Pitman, 21, Albany, WI, in the 400 block of Cincinnati St in the Village of Albany on three counts of Felony Bail Jumping. Pitman was incarcerated in the Green County Jail pending an initial court appearance.
The arrest stemmed from a tip that the Sheriff’s Office received via Green County Crime Stoppers.

Probation and Parole Arrest:
At approximately 12:20 p.m., Deputies responded to the Green County Probation and Parole Office in the City of Monroe and arrested David Mendez, 52, Monroe, WI, who had a Probation Hold placed on him by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Mendez was incarcerated in the Green County Jail.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 3:56 p.m., Deputies responded to the intersection of Main St and CTH S in the Town of Jefferson for a report of a two vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that Toby L. Hosch, 17, Juda, WI, was stopped at the Stop Sign on Main St and then proceeded to pull into the intersection. At this time, a vehicle traveling northbound on CTH S failed to yield the right of way Stop Sign and entered the intersection. This vehicle found to be driven by Gregory A. Trumpy, 65, Juda, WI. The two vehicles then collided. Hosch reported that he was not injured and that he was wearing his seatbelt. Trumpy reported that he was not injured and that he was wearing his seatbelt. Both vehicles sustained functional damage and the airbags deployed. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Trumpy was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way from a Stop Sign.
Probation and Parole Arrest:
At approximately 3:57 p.m., Deputies responded to the Green County Probation and Parole Office in the City of Monroe and arrested Joseph C. Karalis, 54, Monroe, WI, who had a Probation Hold placed on him by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Karalis was incarcerated in the Green County Jail.
