On February 11, 2020, at 7:40 AM, officers responded to a two vehicle traffic accident with no reported injuries at 20th Avenue and 9th Street. Investigation indicated that a westbound vehicle on 9th Street, operated by Kari R. Rosenstiel (29), Monroe, collided with a northbound vehicle on 20th Avenue, operated by a 20 year old Orangeville, IL woman. Both vehicle sustained moderate damages. Rosenstiel was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, and was released pending a court appearance.
On February 11, 2020, at 3:27 PM, officers arrested Dale J. Graff Jr. (56), Monroe, following a traffic offense stop in the 1800 block of 9th Street. Graff was cited for having an expired registration, and for operating with a suspended driver’s license. It was discovered that Graff was on bail from a prior case, and prohibited from operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license. Graff was subsequently arrested for bail jumping, and confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
