All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The following incidents occurred on Sunday, May 24, 2020:
OWI Arrest:
At approximately 2:28 a.m., Deputies responded to the N3600 block of STH 69 in the Town of Monroe for a report of a vehicle parked in the southbound lane of traffic. Upon Deputies arrival, they located the vehicle parked completely in the southbound lane and the driver was passed out in the driver’s seat. The driver was identified as Steven M. K. Futch, 26, Monroe, WI. Investigation resulted in Futch being arrested for Operate While under the Influence (alcohol) 1st Offense. Futch was later released pending a mandatory court appearance.
Domestic Abuse Arrest:
At approximately 5:40 a.m., Deputies and Albany EMS responded to a residence in the 200 block of N 5th Ave in the Village of Albany for a report of a physical altercation. Investigation resulted in Tanya M. Wurtzbacher, 34, Albany, WI, being arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Battery, both Domestic Abuse related. Wurtzbacher was later released pending a court appearance.
Motorcycle Crash:
At approximately 4:22 p.m., Deputies responded to the W7400 block of STH 39 in the Town of York for a report of a single motorcycle crash. Investigation revealed that Mark R. Heiss, 60, Madison, WI, was traveling westbound when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The motorcycle exited the roadway and entered the north ditch. The motorcycle went up an embankment and came to a rest on its side. Heiss reported that he was not injured. The motorcycle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
