The following incident occurred on Wednesday, June 24, 2020:
Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage
On Wednesday 6/24/20 at 6:35 am deputies responded to a two vehicle crash the intersection of CTH S and STH 11.
Investigation revealed a 2013 Black Ford Escape, driven by Neil J. Schultz 27 of Belleville WI, stopped at the Southbound Stop Sign on CTH S at STH 11, then entered the intersection striking a Black Chevy Cruz eastbound on STH 11 approaching CTH S. Following the crash the Chevy Cruz entered and came to rest in the north east ditch line. The Chevy Cruz was operated by Jaclyn Hammill 31 of Evansville WI. No injuries were reported and both drivers were wearing seatbelts. Vehicles both sustained damage. Neil Schultz was cited for Failure to Yield from a stop sign and Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License.
Motor Vehicle Crash – Injury
On Wednesday 06/24/2020 at 8:39 pm a deputy located a motor vehicle accident in the W7900 block of CTH C, Adams Township. Investigation determined a vehicle operated by, Pamela K. Alexander 63 of Albany WI, was traveling east on CTH C when negotiating a curve entered the gravel ditch. Alexander attempted to correct back on the roadway, but over corrected and entered the ditch where the vehicle struck a culvert and rolled before coming to rest. Alexander was wearing her seatbelt and the airbags did deploy. She sustained an injury and was transported by EMS to the Monroe Clinic Emergency Room.
Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage
On Wednesday 06/24/2020 at approximately 11:35 PM, Deputies were notified of a single vehicle crash in the N2200 block of County Highway T, Town of Spring Grove.
Investigation revealed that Maxtin R. Harding, 17, of Brodhead, was westbound on Avon Townline Road, County of Rock, when he reportedly fell asleep. Maxtin then failed to stop at the stop sign at County Highway T. The vehicle passed through the T-intersection and exited the roadway to the west. The vehicle collided with the ditch and continued westbound into a Green County property. The vehicle then collided with a large equipment tire. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was left at the scene. There was no airbag deployment. Maxtin was the sole occupant. Maxtin was reported to have been wearing his seatbelt and sustained no injuries.
