The Monroe FFA did it again, this time purchasing and donating 200 half gallons of chocolate milk. The milk was purchased from the New Glarus Dairy and was delivered by the School District of Monroe’s Nutrition Program. According to the School District of Monroe, the milk was delivered to Monroe families participating in the District’s Student Meal Delivery program.
This isn’t the first donation of milk by the Monroe FFA. Back in May, the Monroe FFA donated 200 gallons of milk to the school’s nutrition program.
Milk Donations have occurred across the State of Wisconsin, as organizations look to support local dairy farmers, as well as families who are participating in school nutrition programs.
The School District of Monored thanked everyone who helped make the donation possible on their Facebook page.
