All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The following incidents occurred on Tuesday, December 29, 2020:
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 5:03 p.m., Deputies responded to the W900 block of STH 11 in the Town of Spring Grove for a report of a two vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that Riese F. Price, 16, Brodhead, WI, was traveling eastbound when her vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a westbound vehicle that was being driven by Catarina Emma-Anastasia Jongeward, 26, Moore, OK.
Jongeward reported that she was not injured and that she was wearing her seatbelt. Jongeward’s vehicle sustained functional damage and the airbags did not deploy. Jongeward’s vehicle was driven from the scene. Price reported that she was not injured and that she was wearing her seatbelt. Price’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and the airbags deployed. Price’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
Price was cited for Driving Too Fast for Conditions and was released pending a court appearance.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 6:11 p.m., Deputies responded to the N9600 block of CTH D in the Town of Exeter for a report of a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that Faith L. Stull, 17, Oregon, WI, was traveling southbound when she lost control of her vehicle due to the snow covered road surface. The vehicle exited the roadway and collided with a traffic sign. Stull reported that she was not injured and that she was wearing her seatbelt. A passenger in the vehicle reported that they were wearing their seatbelt and that they were not injured. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle will be towed from the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 10:21 p.m., Deputies were notified of a two vehicle crash that occurred in the N5000 block of STH 104 in the Town of Albany. Investigation revealed that Michael J. Kitchen, 25, Brodhead, WI, was traveling southbound when his vehicle collided with a vehicle that was stopped in the southbound lane. The second vehicle was found to be operated by Julio H. Rodriguez, 72, Brodhead, WI.
Kitchen reported that he was not injured and that he was wearing his seatbelt. A passenger in the vehicle was not injured and was properly restrained. Kitchen’s vehicle sustained minor damage and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
