The following incidents occurred on Friday, January 15, 2021:
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 12:42 a.m., Deputies responded to the N5800 block of STH 69 in the Town of Washington for a report of a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that Ryu R. Voegeli, 27, Monroe, WI, was traveling northbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to the snow covered road surface. The vehicle exited the roadway and entered the ditch where it came to a rest in a field. Voegeli advised that he was not injured and that he was wearing his seatbelt. The vehicle sustained damage and the airbags deployed. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Voegeli was cited for Non-Registration of an Auto.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 10:52 a.m., Deputies responded to the W2800 block of CTH SS in the Town of Sylvester for a report of a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that Donald T. D. Pitman, 22, Albany, WI, was traveling westbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to the snow covered road surface. The vehicle then entered the south ditch where it collided with a utility pole and a fence. The vehicle then came to a rest. Pitman reported that he was not injured and that he was wearing his seatbelt. The vehicle sustained damage and was left on scene.
Pitman was cited for Operate after Suspension, Failure to Notify Law Enforcement of an Accident, and Display False Registration.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 5:57 p.m., Deputies responded to the N7200 block of Wettach Rd in the Town of Mt Pleasant for a report of a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that Karl B. Schwoerer, 20, Belleville, WI, was traveling northbound when he lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a curve in the roadway. The vehicle exited the roadway and collided with a tree. The vehicle then overturned and collided with another tree. The vehicle then came to a rest. Schwoerer reported that he was not injured and that he was wearing his seatbelt. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Schwoerer was cited for Failure to Keep Vehicle under Control.
