The following incidents occurred Friday, May 14, 2021:
MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH
At 5:47 AM Deputies responded to the area of N3600 State Hwy 81, Town of Monroe for a two-vehicle crash. Investigation determined that a northbound vehicle operated by Colin R. Foley 18, of Monroe had a tire become detached while in motion. The tire struck a southbound vehicle operated by Dana C. Wyttenbach 42, of Argyle. Both drivers were not injured and their seatbelts were used. Wyttenbach’s vehicle sustained disabling damage with no airbag deployment and was towed from the scene. Foley’s vehicle sustained disabling damage with no airbag deployment and was towed from the scene.
MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH
At 7:31 AM Deputies responded to the area of W8500 State Hwy 11, Town of Cadiz for a one vehicle crash. Investigation determined that an eastbound vehicle operated by Shayla J. Curran 24, of Shullsburg was following a semi when an item fell off the trailer and struck the vehicle. Curran was not injured and her seatbelt was used. The vehicle sustained functional damage with no airbag deployment and was driven from the scene. The semi was not located.
MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH
At 9:17 PM Deputies responded to County Hwy C at Brooklyn Albany Road, Town of Albany for a vehicle crash. Investigation determined that a southbound vehicle operated by Ted A. Jackson 64, of rural Albany failed to negotiate the curve in the roadway. The vehicle entered the ditch and collided with a tree. Jackson was not injured and his seatbelt was used. The vehicle sustained functional damage with no airbag deployment and was towed from the scene. Jackson was subsequently arrested for Operating While Under the Influence – 1st Offense. Jackson was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and released to a responsible party pending court.
MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH
At 9:20 PM Deputies responded to the area of N7200 County Hwy CC, Town of Exeter for a two-vehicle crash. Investigation determined that a northbound vehicle operated by David L. Mouchon 50, of Belleville collided with a deer causing damage to the windshield. Mouchon’s vehicle operated across the centerline where it collided with a southbound vehicle. The southbound vehicle was operated by Cole D. Nicholson 48, of Monticello. Nicholson’s vehicle travelled down a steep embankment coming to a rest. Mouchon was not injured and his seatbelt was used. Mouchon’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Nicholson was not injured and his seatbelt was used. Nicholson’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.
All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
