A decision has been made to postpone the Board of Review meeting until October 26th at 10:00 AM. The Board will consider any objections regarding assessments as long as they are submitted no later than 48 hours before at the Board of Review.
Individuals can continue scheduling appointments with the assessors to appeal their assessed values. If you are a City of Monroe property owner and would like to schedule an open book appointment with Accurate Assessor, you may do so by visiting accurateassessor.com and clicking on Appointments. Accurate will reactivate the online scheduling portal by noon.
The assessor will also be available by email: info@accurateassessor.com or by phone 920-749-8098. Due to call volume we recommend setting an appointment online. If you do call and cannot reach an assessor please leave a detailed message with your property address, parcel, and pertinent information. You may also email the assessor documentation, evidence, and sales comparisons to review. Accurate will respond to you within 48 business hours no matter what form of communication you use.
In addition to postponing the Board of Review meeting, approximately 30 property owners will receive an updated assessment letter informing them of an uploading error from our prior assessment company filed for 2021. If you are one of these properties, your notice will explain the issue and give you instructions should you wish to speak to an assessor to answer your questions.
The City and Accurate would like to thank everyone for understanding this matter and allowing all residents more time to complete the open book process fairly. We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused you personally.
