All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The following incidents occurred on Thursday, June 4, 2020:
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 4:36 p.m., Deputies and Albany EMS responded to the N5100 block of CTH E in the Town of Albany for a report of a single vehicle rollover crash. Investigation revealed that Bradford J. Brush, 37, Albany, WI, was traveling southbound when he reported that he swerved to miss a raccoon that was in the roadway. Brush lost control of the vehicle, which entered the ditch and overturned. Brush reported that he was wearing his seatbelt and that he sustained non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Brush was cited for Failure to Maintain Control of Vehicle.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 7:23 p.m., Deputies, New Glarus EMS, and the Monticello Fire Department responded to the N5800 block of STH 69 in the Town of Washington for a report of a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that Curtia S. M. Sails, 30, Sun Prairie, WI, was traveling northbound when she reported that she swerved to miss a deer that was in the roadway. Sails lost control of the vehicle, which then exited the roadway and struck a culvert. The vehicle then struck an embankment and a wooden post. Sails reported that she was wearing her seatbelt and she sustained non-life threatening injuries. A 7 year old juvenile passenger and a 15 year old juvenile passenger both sustained non-life injuries. Both juvenile passengers were wearing seatbelts. Sails and her two juvenile passengers were transported by EMS to the Monroe Clinic Emergency Room for injuries sustained in the crash. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and the airbags deploy. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Sails was cited for Operate a Motor Vehicle without a Valid License, Operate a Motor Vehicle without Insurance, and Possession of Open Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle. Sails was released pending a court appearance.
Domestic Abuse Arrest:
At approximately 10:57 p.m., Deputies responded to a residence in the N9200 CTH D in the Town of Exeter for a report of a disturbance. Investigation resulted in Tyler S. Bollig, 36, Belleville, WI, being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct – Domestic Abuse. Bollig was transported to the Green County Jail and was later released after the posting of bond.
The Belleville Police Department and the New Glarus Police Department assisted Deputies at the scene.
