Domestic Abuse
At 2:26am, Deputies responded to a rural Decatur Township business for a report of two subjects being loud, and threatened the complainant.
Investigation found that Leea Drescher, 38 of Janesville was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct (domestic related) and later posted bond.
Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage
At 6:50am, GRSO was notified of a vehicle in the ditch in the W4000 block of STH 11, Town of Sylvester. When deputies arrived, they found a white
2002 Pontiac Grand Prix down the embankment, and was damaged. The driver had left the north side of the westbound lanes and struck a snow fence, owned by GC Hwy, and continued down the embankment. The driver appeared to attempt to drive the vehicle out of the ditch, but got hung up on the small creek. The vehicle sustained minor front-end damage and has no airbag deployment. The vehicle was taken to GRSO Impound, as the registered owner could not be located.
Investigation found that Brody Gallegher, 19, of Monroe driving at the time of the crash. Brody advised he was wearing his seatbelt and had a slight headache. Brody said he swerved to miss a deer at around 4 a.m. this morning. Brody was issued citations for Failure to Notify Police of an Accident, and Failure to Maintain Control of Vehicle.
Bail Jumping – Arrest
At 7:08pm Deputies responded to a rural Browntown residence in Cadiz Township for a reported disturbance. Investigation resulted in Michael Trumble 65, of rural Browntown being arrested for two counts of Bail Jumping. Trumble was jailed pending cash bond or court.
