The following incident occurred on Sunday, January 23, 2022:
Motor Vehicle Crash with Injury
At approximately 9:24 AM Deputies, the New Glarus Police Department, the Belleville Fire Department and Belleville EMS, responded to the W4500 block of County Highway W, Town of Exeter, for a report of a one vehicle crash.
Investigation determined that the operator, Kaylyn R. Anger, 27 of Belleville, was traveling west on CTH W when she lost control on the snow covered road. The vehicle entered the ditch, rolled onto the driver side and then rolled back onto its wheels. The vehicle sustained functional damage and there was no airbag deployment. Kaylyn reported wearing her seatbelt and sustaining minor injury that she denied medical treatment for. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Traffic Crime
At approximately 6:56 PM, deputies conducted a traffic stop in the N4500 block of State Highway 69, Town of Monroe.
The traffic stop resulted in the operator, Ricardo Almos-Landa, 46 of Monroe, being cited for speeding (71 MPH in a 55 MPH zone) and Operating Without a Valid License – 2nd offense within 3 years. Ricardo was released with a future court date.
Disorderly Conduct, Domestic Abuse
At approximately 11:08 PM, deputies responded to the 200 block of S. Center St. in the Village of Browntown, for a verbal altercation in a home.
Investigation resulted in the offender, Darrin A. Gruenberg, 51 of Browntown, being arrested for Disorderly Conduct, falling under the Wisconsin Domestic Abuse laws. Darrin was transported to the Green County Jail where he was held pending his initial court appearance or posting of his bond.
All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
